Bottas reveals new ‘mean’ helmet for 2023 as Sargeant unveils his design for rookie F1 campaign
Valtteri Bottas has unveiled his bold new helmet design for the 2023 season – with Williams driver Logan Sargeant also giving fans a first look at his brand new lid for his debut season in Formula 1.
On Wednesday afternoon, Alfa Romeo driver Bottas revealed his brand new black and blue helmet, which has been designed by his partner Tiffany Cromwell. The Finn described this new lid as being “a bit more mean” compared to last year’s, although there are some similarities between the two.

This comes on the same day his team mate, Zhou Guanyu, unveiled his new purple and yellow helmet which he will be wearing for the 2023 season. It features a tribute to his home city Shanghai and a rabbit on the back – as 2023 is the Year of the rabbit on the Chinese calendar.

Bottas and Zhou will be out on track with their new helmets at Alfa Romeo’s shakedown in Barcelona later this week, with Sargeant set to follow suit for Williams at Silverstone on February 13.
You will also be able to see all three drivers at pre-season testing in Bahrain on February 23-25, before the first Grand Prix of the year just a week later at the same track.
