What time is the 2022 French Grand Prix and how can I watch it?

The 2022 French Grand Prix is set to get underway this weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard, with Ferrari looking to make it three wins in a row as they seek to close the gap to Red Bull at the top of both championships.

Max Verstappen has a lead of 38 points over Charles Leclerc in the drivers’ championship, after the Ferrari racer sealed his first victory since Melbourne last time out in Austria. Verstappen’s team mate Sergio Perez is further 57 points adrift of the championship leader after being forced to retire early at the Red Bull Ring.

Last year’s French Grand Prix saw Verstappen overtake title rival Lewis Hamilton on the second-to-last lap of the race, while Perez overtook Valtteri Bottas to finished in third.

This year’s action gets underway with FP1 and FP2 on Friday, followed by FP3 and qualifying on Saturday, before the Grand Prix on Sunday.
